Compiled from several workshops in Europe, this video is an ideal introduction to the Cheng Hsin work. In addition to demonstrations of uprooting and throwing techniques, solo sets of movements, sword, punching, and more, Peter Ralston lectures on a variety of subjects such as Cheng Hsin Body-Being development, Effortless Power, Leading, Outreaching, Applications, and Freeplay.
The quality of the video was compromised during conversion from the European PAL system, but the material is exceptional. Whether you are new to Cheng Hsin or an avid fan, this video holds much that will instruct, inspire, enlighten, and even amuse you. Highly recommended viewing for those considering particpating in a workshop.

The "Fight" aspect is footage from Ralston's first fight in the 1978 World Tournament. The quality of the video is terrible. It is still visible, however, and you might find it interesting. The "Play" section is from the 1997 Hawaii camp. Ralston does a few techniques and games, and a round of freeplay. Finally, the "Demo" section are demonstrations by the 2006 Apprentices of the arts of Cheng Hsin. They demonstrate Cheng Hsin T'ui Shou techniques from basic to advanced, show a few rounds of t'ui shou versus striking, and lay out Cheng Hsin Boxing. | To purchase this hour+ DVD:
