The Cheng Hsin Fall Series takes place each year in October and consists of four consecutive week-long workshops, exploring diverse aspects of the Cheng Hsin work: the Effortless Power Training Camp, Experiencing the Nature of Being, The Consciousness Training Camp, and the Contemplation Intensive.
During the first week our focus is on the Art of Effortless Power, primarily increasing mind-body consciousness to access intrinsic strength, and we'll also touch on the essential principles, philosophy, and techniques of this great Art. In the second week, we begin our Consciousness work with Experiencing the Nature of Being, our best and most central ontological workshop most related to "the Book of Not Knowing." The Third week focuses attention on communication and relationship, and then on transcending the limiting structures of self. The final week of the series is a very powerful and intense week of contemplation, the ultimate goal of the CI is to have a direct experience of self and reality.
Though each of these workshops can each be done alone, they are designed for consecutive study. We recommend that you participate in the entire four weeks. Taken together, the Fall Series is a powerful and transformative investigation of skill and consciousness. Week 1
A week devoted to finding and training the elusive skill of effortless power. Although we'll focus on developing the mind and body transformations needed to successfully find and use intrinsic, we'll also touch on the essential principles, philosophy, and basic techniques of the Art of Effortless Power.

Week 2
The Consciousness Work begins with a week of in-depth work of the ENB. This workshop was designed by Peter as a concentrated experiential inquiry into the nature of Being.
Make no mistake about it, the aim is for you to have a direct experience of the nature of yourself and Being. Everyone is welcome to do this work.
Some essential considerations in the ontological work.

Week 3
A week of exploring the nature of consciousness from dawn to late at night. This powerfully-facilitated experiential inquiry explores self, mind, communication and relationship, is a wonderful opportunity to powerfully contemplate these and other rich distinctions in consciousness.
Final Week
A highly structured week of contemplating from dawn to late at night. This deep and focused questioning is an essential tool for increasing consciousness. Our main exercise is a diad where partners contemplate and then communicate to a non-judgmental, silent listening partner.
